Happenings - October 11 (it was a busy week!)

Well today marks the official end of my "birthweek." It was a great one! Mom, Kaitlyn, and I celebrated on my actual day on Monday the 5th with a ladies' luncheon at a tea room in Richardson. I am excited for the days when Kaitlyn is old enough to get all dressed up and eat with us...we will have so much fun together just us gals. Monday night Mom and Dad watched the baby and Jas and I went to Ra sushi for dinner and drinks. We were having a ball and could have stayed out much longer, but decided to be responsible and go pick up our daughter after dinner and a couple of drinks. Of course she didn't miss us because she always has so much fun with her Pops and Kakky!

Tuesday was a fun lunch and shopping with Heather at the Galleria. She is such a precious Momma to be! (Saturday was her baby shower at Nick and Sam's Grill...what a treat!)

Wednesday we headed to Kaufman to visit Ashley and her girls. It was a nice getaway and Kaitlyn slept from the time we left home at 10am until we returned near 4pm. It was a marathon snooze!

We wrapped the week up with a visit from Miss Whitney on Friday. Kaitlyn was in rare form entertaining Whit and was full of laughter and smiles all day long...not one single fuss or anything the entire time she was here. Whit's sweet Mom went to heaven about two months ago, and it was nice to be able to sit and visit and recall our favorite memories.

Friday night we celebrated with my family for both mine and my Mom's birthday. It was a great dinner @ Primavera's in Plano with lots of laughter which is par for the course with us.

Told you it was a busy week. Two more weeks until D-Day..return to work that is :) I am getting ready for the big transition and am going to try and cut out my naps starting tomorrow. Will let you know how that goes!!

Here's a few cute ones.

Daddy did my hair after my bath....

Ava and Cambrie are telling me goodbye after my visit to Kaufman. Love them!!!

We finally captured her smile! Melts our hearts!! (I think she is laughing at her sister Molly here)
