So today I was sitting in the long drive through line at the Addison Chick Fil A, when in front of my car goes the cutest elderly couple. She was a little better off than him, so she got a head start out the door and started gaining on him as they made their way to their car in a handicapped spot. (Which, of course, was a Lincoln Continental)
He seemed determined to catch up with her, and I watched him hustle as best he could, literally dragging his left leg behind him. (Keep in mind that they are both probably 90!)
But, he caught her at the last minute, held open her door and then gently helped her get situated in her seat before he closed her door. It was so precious and reminded me SO MUCH of my Papa! Always a gentleman!
