1B3 ---- That was our "secret code" yesterday at church, which we were given as we dropped off Miss Kaitlyn for sunday school. We kissed her and went on our merry way to the sanctuary.
About midway through the sermon on the discipline of prayer, which I was very much enjoying, I get a firm nudge from Jason. "That's us!!!" There's our code flashing across the bottom of the screen.
We hustled across our church (it's sprawling and I think it was a 1/4 mile walk), and arrived at the nursery to find a HYSTERICAL child. She had definitely been crying non-stop since we left her there, poor little lady. She was all red and splotchy with big swollen eyes. The volunteers there felt so badly but we reassured them that she could be somewhat of a drama queen at times, and not to worry. We snuggled, cuddled, loved and kissed on her all the way home to no avail. She was not going to let us off easy for this transgression of leaving her in the nursery!
We got her home, and as soon as she saw her best friend, Molly, all was right in Kaitlyn's world! I don't know where she got this dramatic flair OR her love for dogs?!!? Any ideas?!
