We are working on teaching Kaitlyn all the body parts in Spanish. Her favorite is "donde esta mi nariz?" Yesterday I was holding her, and asked her this same question. She looks at me, then takes her pointer finger and shoves it about two inches up my nose, almost to the brain! As she takes her finger out, my nose/nariz is gushing blood and she is giggling and hissing like a snake through her six teeth. Guess we can check that vocabulary word off the list!
We had our 9-month appointment this morning. Kaitlyn is:
28.5 inches tall (90+ percentile)
17.4 pounds (25% percentile)
head circumference I can never remember, but 50% percentile
She is doing great! We are transitioning now to all table food and a sippy cup with water. This sounds like fun but lots more messy :)
