The last destinaton we captured before the camera broke was Lake Las Vegas. (Lake Las Vegas is about 30 minutes east of the "strip" in Henderson, Nevada.)
We absolutely loved this stop on the trip. There was a spa at the hotel which we frequented and it was the most relaxing experience. We only went to the strip once to eat at the Social House (sushi restaurant) inside Treasure Island a.k.a. "TI." The food was great there but the service was shoddy and I thought it was rushed. They treated us almost like we were at Chili's and they were trying to turn tables every 20 minutes, only we were dropping $25 or more per entree. Never to fear, I got to leave the tip and updated it accordingly.
back to the hotel experience, here are the views from our room / balcony:
Here's the beach / lagoon...It was really secluded and nice, but the water was frigid. Interesting considering it was 105 degrees outside.
